Chiranjeevi's Big No For YSRCP: No Political Re-Entry

Megastar Chiranjeevi floated his own party Praja Rajyam but he ended up merging the party with Congress. He last served as Rajya Sabha MP from Congress and was away from politics from the past few years. Though his brother Pawan Kalyan is active in AP politics, Chiranjeevi stood neutral and is focused on films. From the past one week, Telugu media speculated badly that Chiranjeevi is returning back to politics and he would join YSRCP. There are also rumors that Chiranjeevi is offered Rajya Sabha MP and he would soon step into the role.

But the real news is that Chiranjeevi has no interest in politics and his full focus would lie on films. Several crucial YSRCP leaders met Chiranjeevi recently and he straightaway expressed his decision with them. YS Jagan feels that Chiranjeevi would be an added advantage for the party but Chiranjeevi has no such plans. His close aides already confirmed this after Chiranjeevi expressed the same with them. Earlier before this, BJP high command too approached Chiranjeevi as the party needs a leader with the potential to take the party forward in Andhra Pradesh.

Chiranjeevi expressed that he wishes to continue in politics. After a blockbuster like Syeraa, Megastar is currently focused on his next film in the direction of Koratala Siva. The film is said to be a social drama and Ram Charan will be seen in a crucial role.
