Kajal Aggarwal is married to Gautam Kitchlu and there are speculations that the actress is pregnant. But the couple never responded or made it official. For the first time, Gautam Kitchlu took his social media page to announce that they are expecting their first child in 2022. He shared a picture of Kajal with a tag "Here's looking at you 2022". The post came with a pregnant woman's emoji. The duo flew off to an undisclosed destination to celebrate the New Year 2022.

Kajal was even dropped from Nagarjuna's 'The Ghost' after she shot for some of the episodes. The actress changed plans and rejected couple of other projects which were yet to be announced officially. Kajal is the leading lady in Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya and she completed the shoot of her portions long ago. Kajal and Gautam got married on October 30th 2020 in a restricted wedding ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic. The actress has to complete the pending portions of the shoot for Kamal Haasan starter Indian 2 and the shoot is expected to resume this year.
