Tollywood's Lucky charm and Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti Haasan returned back to films after a long break. Her comeback films Vakeel Saab and Krack ended up as blockbusters that released this year. Shruti Haasan also turned a signing spree and she bagged a big opportunity beside Prabhas in his upcoming action entertainer that is titled Salaar. KGF sensation Prashanth Neel is the director and Shruti Haasan is on board to play Prabhas' love interest in this big-budget film. The shoot of the film resumes in Mumbai next month.

Shruti Haasan is expected to perform some daring stunts in the film and she is currently getting trained in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for the film. The training sessions under the supervision of the experts will continue for a month as per the update. Shruti Haasan will get perfect in Mixed Martial Arts after which she will join the sets of Salaar. Going with the update, Shruti Haasan is expected to join the sets in the last week of August. The film is aimed for summer 2022 release and is produced by Hombale Films. There are speculations that Shruti Haasan will release in two parts but there is no official confirmation from the makers of Salaar.
