F2 is one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema. Young director Anil Ravipudi joined the big league with this comic entertainer that featured Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen in the lead roles. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations are the producers. Now a sequel for F2 is in making and it is titled F3. The film is all set to roll from next week and Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen will reprise their roles.

All the four lead actors hiked their remunerations. Venkatesh would be charging Rs 12 crores and Varun Tej will be paid Rs 8 crores for F3. Anil Ravipudi hiked his fee and he will be taking Rs 12 crores home for the project. The entire budget of the film touched Rs 80 crores which is huge. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes. The entire shoot of F3 will be completed by the end of March. The film is aimed at summer 2021 release. The makers released the first look poster recently and promised that F3 will have double the fun of F2.
